Six months after Best Buy's acquisition of GreatCall, a San Diego provider of cell phone and related digital home healthcare services to seniors, the retailer is reportedly well-positioned to make an even bigger run at the digital health services market.

3. Roberto Cavalli to liquidate

Luxury fashion brand Roberto Cavalli closed all its US stores on Friday and is reportedly preparing to liquidate its North American operations. A Cavalli spokesperson was quoted as saying that the company is expected to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy this week.

4. Amazon to cut prices at Whole Foods

Amazon and Whole Foods Market announced in a joint statement that a new round of price cuts on hundreds of items will go into effect starting Wednesday. They also said that Prime members will find "double the number of exclusive weekly Prime member deals and deeper discounts"

5. US retail sales fall by 0.2% in February

US Retail sales dropped 0.2% in February as households cut back on purchases of furniture, clothing, food and electronics and appliances, as well as building materials and gardening equipment. The dip in momentum compared to previous months reflected rising interest rates, slowing global growth, Washington's trade war with China and uncertainty over Brexit.
