The limitations of physical retail no longer bind the fashion industry. Digitally Native Vertical Brands (DNVBs) are rapidly on the rise, riding the wave of the digital revolution. Of all the DNVBs surveyed, the Clothing and Apparel segment has the highest established market size of USD 317B. The number is closely followed by Accessories and Footwear.

With e-tail gaining traction even among consumers, brands are reinventing themselves and dabbling into this niche to compete with the DNVBs. Not surprisingly, though, most of the brands in this niche come from either the USA or China.
